The Project
One of our licensees, Swiftwick, makes high-performance athletic socks, prized by hikers and bikers. They licensed our National Park designs to create a best-selling line of socks that celebrate America’s favorite outdoor spaces.
The Challenge
We knew it would be a challenge to adapt our poster artwork to fit on a sock. Further, it would have to print beautifully on stretchy fabric.
The Solution
We worked closely with the Swiftwick team via trial and error to adjust our colors so they would reproduce well in the dye sublimation printing process. We also had to format our artwork to fit the shape of a sock and make sure it would translate well in all the sizes from Small to XL.
