The Project
After creating hundreds of travel poster art depicting popular travel destinations, we wanted to create a series of posters to explore the world of coffee. It is grown all over the globe, and enjoyed in so many different forms by so many cultures—it seemed like a perfect theme for poster art.
The Challenge
There are so many regions where coffee is grown, so many different ways it is served, it would be hard to figure out where to start! Fortunately, some of our calendar licensees needed 12 coffee images per year, so we had fun with themes based on coffee flavors, origins, and lifestyles.
The Solution
We thought about who drinks coffee and why. We researched where coffee is grown around the world, and how different cultures enjoy it. We studied vintage coffee labels, ads, and poster designs and created our own collection of classic-looking coffee poster art to sell on our site and to license to our clients.
