The Project

The founder of the Old Glory Distilling Co. hired us to create an all-American brand look and packaging scheme to celebrate Clarksville, Tennessee and the famous 101st Airborne Division stationed nearby at Fort Campbell.

The Challenge

We had to figure out how to integrate symbolism that would hint at Clarksville, Tennessee, the Armed Forces, and a small batch, hand-crafted whiskey, bourbon, and distilled spirits.

The Solution

We created a patriotic theme using red, white and blue, plenty of stars and stripes, eagles, vintage type and classic design. The Old Glory brand now stands apart from all other competitors due to its distinctive small town America look and feel.

Liquor store shelves are overwhelming in the variety of bottle shapes, label colors, and brand identities. So we were sure to take advantage of all the tricks available when creating the label art. Everything from custom die cuts to embossing, to foil stamping were used to make the Old Glory line stand out from the clutter.

Old Glory has a fabulous gift shop in their distillery. They sell our poster designs as prints and metal signs. Folks love to decorate with this kind of art, and it does a great job promoting the brand when used as wall decor for years on end!
